Earthquake

An earthquake (also known as a quake, tremor or temblor) is the result of a sudden release of energy in theEarth crust that creates Seismic Waves. The seismicity, seismism or seismic activity of an area refers to the frequency, type and size of earthquakes experienced over a period of time.Earthquakes are measured using observations from seismometers
Tectonic Eartquake. These occur when rocks in the earth's crust break due to geological forces created by movement of Tectonic plates Another type, volcanic earthquakes, occur in conjunction with volcanic activity. Collapse earthquakes are small earthquakes in underground caverns and mines.Landslip a slide of a large mass of dirt and rock down a mountain or cliff landslide.
Earthquakes are caused by faulting, a sudden lateral or vertical movement of rock along a rupture (break) surface.
The epicenter is the point on the Earth's surface that is directly above the hypocenter or focus, the point where an earthquake or underground explosion originates. The word derives from the New Latin noun epicentrum, the latinisation of the ancient Greek adjective ἐπίκεντρος (epikentros), "occupying a cardinal point, situated on a centre", from ἐπί (epi) "on, upon, at" and κέντρον (kentron) "centre".Focus refers to the depth at which an earthquake occurs. Earthquakes occurring at a depth of less than 70 km are classified as 'shallow-focus' earthquakes, while those with a focal-depth between 70 and 300 km are commonly termed 'mid-focus' or 'intermediate-depth' earthquakes.
Foreshocks are earthquakes which precede larger earthquakes in the same location. Aftershocks are smaller earthquakes which occur in the same general area during the days to years following a larger event or "mainshock", defined as within 1-2 fault lengths away and during the period of time before the background seismicity level has resumed.
The Magnitude indicates the amount of energy released at the source (or epicentre) and is measured by the open-ended Richter Scale. The intensity of an earthquake at a particular locality indicates the violence of earth motion produced there by the earthquake.

Inter tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ)

Magdagdag ng caption

What I did is I search what is the meaning of Inter tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and what it is causes and effect especially to peoples live in earth. I learned how to be aware if there is ITCZ in our place and also to get ready when rains come in our place. I learned also what is ITCZ and what is the effect of it  in human life. It affect our weather and also the rainfall in our country. I can apply my learning's to my everyday life and to thought someone  to get ready and to apply it in there life. The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), known by sailors as the doldrums, is the area encircling the earth near the equator where the northeast and southeastward winds come together. The ITCZ appears as a band of clouds, usually thunderstorms, that circle the globe near the equator. In the Northern Hemisphere, the trade winds move in a southwestern direction from the northeast, while in the Southern Hemisphere, they move northwestward from the southeast. When the ITCZ is positioned north or south of the equator, these directions change according to the Coriolis effect imparted by the rotation of the earth. When the ITCZ is situated north of the equator, the southeast trade wind changes to a southwest wind as it crosses the equator. The ITCZ is formed by vertical motion largely appearing as convective activity of thunderstorms driven by solar heating, which effectively draw air in; these are the trade winds. The ITCZ is effectively a tracer of the ascending branch of the Hadley cell, and is wet. These is all i learned about ITCZ.

Go Low CO2

What I did I help how to get the Carbon Dioxide (CO2) low and I also think a solution we can do to help the earth in being damaging. I learned to care our nature by unplugging my charger when not in use because energy conserve if we unplug our phone chargers. I also recycle paper because tree is very precious, when we conserve paper less trees will be cut. I also suggested in our neighbor and also in my father that do not consume more gasoline because when we consume more gasoline, more carbon dioxide produces. I also suggested, stop car idling to conserve also more gasoline. I recycle cans, conserve or recycle our plastic bags by using it again and again until it become disposable and don't throw garbage anywhere. I can apply my learning to help the earth, our nature and  people to wake up to see what happen in earth. We know because of carbon dioxide coming from smoke pf the factories, cars or vehicles, illegal logging and differentr human activities affect our earth. Wake up and think goo solutions to our earth. Like me as a student, I help the earth to maintain its cleanliness and its beautiful nature.

Rainfall Monitoring

What I did is observed , measured, collected, recorded, and predict . Because of these procedure I learned hoe to measure manual rain gauge and digital rain gauge. I learned also how to collect rain gauge data to know what is the weather, humidity, sunrise and sunset of the day. I can apply my learning
to predict the weather to the people. That's why I can also help people to get ready when storm and thunderstorm coming to their place. I also learned what is Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) doing to determined the weather in the Philippines and PAGASA also help people to know what is the weather today and in the other day. It means PAGASA has good benefit to people live in the Philippines.

Tropical Depressions

What I did is I collect data what is tropical depressions and what is the effect of tropical depression in our country. I learned how to know the climate by its appearance and to get ready when tropical depression come in our place. I can apply my learning's to help people to also get ready when tropical depressions ominous to come in their place. I also learned what the tropical depression is. It is a group of thunderstorms has come together under the right atmospheric conditions for a long enough time, they may organize into a tropical depression. Winds near the center are constantly between 20 and 34 knots (23 - 39 mph). It is also designated when the first appearance of a lowered pressure and organized circulation in the center of the thunderstorms complex occurs. This is all I learned about TROPICAL DEPRESSIONS.
